Bobbie Green

Communications Specialist , Environmental Defense Fund

Bobbie Green is the Communications Specialist for Environmental Defense Fund and supports strategic communications campaigns for EDF’s growing initiative to build climate resilient coasts and watersheds in the U.S. and globally. Her expertise is mainly focused on work with the Restore the Mississippi River Delta Coalition.

Bobbie comes with a slew of experience in the marketing and communications industry with a B.A. in Mass Communications and an M.S. in Marketing and Communications from Loyola University New Orleans (GO WOLFPACK)!  She enjoys creating content with research-based strategies and is passionate about storytelling and creating connections with unique audiences. Past employers include organizations like the United Way of Southeast Louisiana and the Louisiana Bar Foundation. Bobbie’s love for mission-driven causes has influenced the creativity in her work.

In her spare time, the New Orleans native enjoys musical theatre, true crime documentaries, sci-fi novels, movies, and spending time with her family, friends, and four fur babies. Additionally, she is a big foodie and always on the hunt for the next tasty dish!

With her fun and bubbly personality, she is a glass-half-full type of person. Her life motto is “Protect your peace, Queen.”
