Policy Director, Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana

Emily serves as the Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana’s (CRCL) Policy Director. Emily advocates on behalf of CRCL as well as the Restore the Mississippi River Delta for restoration and protection of Louisiana’s coast. Emily came to CRCL from the Institute for Water Resources at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) in Alexandria, VA. At USACE she supported environmental, coastal and navigation policy initiatives. She also previously worked on policy issues at the National Park Service and the U.S. Forest Service in Washington, DC. She has a Master’s degree from Duke University in Coastal Environmental Management and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida in Zoology. She grew up along Florida’s Gulf Coast.
