Cameron Shoreline Dune Restoration

The Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana (CRCL), in partnership with Cheniere Energy and Restore America’s Estuaries (RAE), is excited to be returning to the Cameron coastline on Saturday, June 24th! They will be planting 7,600 plugs of native dune grass over one mile of beach and we need your help!
The goals of this project are to increase soil retention along the beach, promote dune growth, provide critical habitat for nesting birds, and enhance natural shoreline protection for the coastal communities of Cameron parish.
