“Water/Ways,” an exhibition from the Smithsonian’s Museum on Main Street, explores the relationship between people and water. It looks at the centrality of water in our lives including its effect on the environment and climate, settlement and migration, and its impact on culture and spirituality. Zion Travelers Cooperative Center and Phoenix High School will host the first “Water/Ways” exhibition in Louisiana. The exhibition will be free and open to the public. Programming will focus on South Plaquemines Parish, its unique culture, and relationships with water.
