Best of Bycatch

Join us at the Southern Food & Beverage Museum for a day of eating and saving the environment. Guests will be able to sample dishes from restaurants around the city and pair them with craft drinks from local brewers and distilleries. Judges will be on hand. It guest will also vote for crowd favorite recipe to be Best of Bycatch. This event is part of Culinaria Center’s invasive species project that supports the Coast by encouraging consumption of Asian carp, an invasive species with a growing presence in Louisiana. This is a free, public, educational event co-sponsored by the Mississippi River Delta Coalition and Eat Local NOLA, but an RSVP is required.
