Community Engagement Coordinator, Pontchartrain Conservancy

As the Community Engagement Coordinator for Pontchartrain Conservancy, Dennis Clutter helps promote environmental stewardship and education throughout the 16-parish Pontchartrain Basin. He strives to increase awareness and action to address the many environmental challenges facing Louisiana. Particularly, in conjunction with Pontchartrain Conservancy’s focus on education, he seeks to engage and develop the next generation of Louisiana coastal leaders.

A lifelong Gulf Coast native between Houston and New Orleans, Dennis received his BS in Environmental Biology from Tulane University, where he focused on urban ecology and avian biology. He has previous professional experience in urban ecology research, wildlife consulting, and outdoor education. On a nice day, you’ll nearly always find Dennis biking around town or on a nearby trail with binoculars in hand.
