Tell Your Story: What Does the Coast Mean to You?

This can be a specific memory of the coast, a description of a favorite place, an explanation of how the coast enriches your life or business – really whatever you choose!

More about Our Coast, Our Stories

An overwhelming 95 percent of Louisiana voters say Louisiana’s coastal areas and wetlands are important to them personally. Through the Coastal Master Plan, we have an opportunity like never before to get things done for the people, wildlife and jobs that depend on a healthy, sustainable coast.

Our coast unites everyone who lives in Louisiana. From businesses who depend on the coast and ports as an economic driver, to families passing their coastal heritage down to future generations, to first generation Louisianans who have fallen in love with our great cities and culture, to home owners across the coast who fear the loss of protection against storm surge and flooding, protecting our coastal areas is a top priority.
