Join us Saturday, October 27 for a morning of exploring residential coastal areas.

What: Tour of the Mississippi River Levee and Lower 9 Bayou Bienvenue Viewing Platform

Date: Saturday, October 27

Time: 10:30 a.m. — noon

Who: New Orleans residents who want to visit and learn more about our coast

Where: Meet in front of Little Zion Baptist Church, 5130 Chartres Street, 70117

Free Lunch: Water, snacks and great food will be provided for confirmed attendees

– Wetland loss throughout coastal Louisiana
– Lower 9th Ward Bayou Bienvenue Viewing Platform
– Mississippi River levees
– Coastal restoration jobs: an emerging new industry
